2024 Lunch and Learns

Click on a topic to learn more.

Looking for an opportunity to connect with and learn alongside other IT and security leaders? Our lunch and learns are small casual gatherings focused on a targeted cybersecurity topic. We offer diverse topics to serve the needs of individuals with different responsibilities in respective security roles. Registration for upcoming lunch and learns is available below.

Incident Response Preparedness

Policies, procedures, playbooks. You may have none of those or all of those. Wherever you are, it’s crucial to have them, know them, and be able to access them. Maybe that’s on a secure server or saved to a secure host.

But what about when you can’t or shouldn’t have access to the digital files. What do you do then? Where do you go? How do you know?

In this Lunch and Learn, Jonathan Kimmitt will go over the construction, use, storage, and access of an IR Binder. You’ll learn what you’d need in it, how to organize it, and how to be prepared to use it if the need arises.

This Lunch and Learn will help you no matter your organization’s level of preparation. If you don’t have the materials the binder should include, it’s a good opportunity to find out and begin crafting those. If you do have the materials, it’s a good opportunity to think through your organization’s preparedness for an incident taking out the normal channels of access and communication.

Bring a laptop. Bring a pen. And who knows, maybe bring a binder.

This Lunch and Learn will be hosted at Alias HQ:

4308 Grant Blvd., Ste E/F, Yukon, OK 73099
